How do you connect your WhatsApp with your Facebook Fan Page?
It’s a very common question we get from our community.
And yet you need to have this in order to bring traffic to your WhatsApp.
There are basically two ways how you can connect your WhatsApp to your Facebook Fan Page:
- Through your Facebook Fan Page Setting (Facebook is still rolling this feature globally so you might not be able to connect both this way)
- Through your Ads Manager
Both are pretty easy to do and takes only five minutes to connect both.

Where can I connect my WhatsApp number with my Facebook Account?
There’s two ways you can do this.
It all depends whether you’re using Facebook Business Manager or not.
If you’re NOT using it:
Access via your fan page settings.
If you ARE using it:
Access via your business manager.
How To Connect Facebook and WhatsApp via your Fan Page

Step 1: First thing you need to do is go to you Fan Page’s settings.
Step 2: Go to the WhatsApp tab
Scroll down. On the left, you’ll find a tab that says WhatsApp.
Step 3: Add and validate your WhatsApp Number
We already have our WhatsApp connected, but right now it’s going to ask you for your number!
Write your WhatsApp number.
You will receive a code to your WhatsApp that you need to use in order to approve the connection.
Put that code back in the fan page when it asks you to.
Do you remember that button we talked about?
If you scroll down a little bit, you’ll see this option:
Turn it on.
Congratulations! You’ve now connected your Facebook Fan Page to your WhatsApp Account.
How To Connect Your WhatsApp Account Using Facebook Business Manager:
This is a second way in which you can connect your Fan Page to your WhatsApp Business.
Step 1: Go to your Ads Manager
Visit your Business Manager and go to your “Ads Manager”
Create a new campaign on green button:
Step 2: Select “Messages” objective for your campaign
Select the Fan Page you want to connect to your WhatsApp Business Number
Enter your WhatsApp number (or your WhatsApp Business number) and click on Send Code.
Facebook will send you a code for verification.
Step 3: Verify code
Verify the code by entering it in the popup.
Step 4: See Confirmation
You should see a message confirmation with the phone number you enter as your WhatsApp Business account.
Awesome you are ready now!
